Population and Sustainability

"The destruction of the natural world we see across the globe today is 'fallout' from the human population explosion that has occurred over the course of the last 50 years. The world is at a critical juncture. While birth rates have fallen in many countries and regions, demographic momentum means we are now adding a record number of people to the world's population every year. At current birth rates the population of the world will double in the next 50 years. If that happens, countless creatures already pushed to the edge, may pass into extinction." 

Let us not forget that over half of the human beings on this planet we encounter on a daily bases are useless and serve absolutely no purpose to further our global intelligence or human dignity (and you can forget about decency). Do not waste your DNA. No children and no over population. Consider non-breeding as a global service so when you die you can say, "You're welcome!". 

This romantic notion of having children needs to die. For fuck's sake. Why do you even want to continue the cycle? Just think it over - do you really want to bring another human being into this world to deal with the shit you have to deal with now? At this point scheduling to have a child is like waiting to torture an unsuspecting human being. The horrible things that happen on this planet completely out-weighs the good on so many levels; you have disease, starvation, war, human predators (of all sorts), nuclear mutants, natural disasters, Wal-Mart, religion, pollution, bigotry, and politics. Or maybe your child will be the next Hitler. Do you really want that on your conscience? Or, if you're religious, what if he/she is the Anti-Christ? Or maybe a pedophile, murderer, etc., etc.!  

Think of the children! Imagine how much better life would be for them (the new borns and young ones) if everyone decided right now to not have any more kids. They would deal with less traffic and have a lot more opportunities in their future. If you care about babies and kids so much why don't you (parent to be) be the better person and help a young infant by telling them, "I'm not going to breed so you have a brighter future... yes, I am... yes, i am... oooooohhh, who's the cutest wittle baby!" 

Stop breeding. It costs too much money to raise kids anyway. Save your money and take vacations. Enjoy your life. When the world population decreases and global intelligence rises it will be safe to start having children again.
