'The Blogosphere'

I've never had an interest in Blogs because I'd always viewed them as being synonymous with Twitter and Face Book and Fuck Book - or the only people who posted on them were bitchy liberals [how wrong I was]. So I'm new to the almighty 'blogosphere', which has me begging the question; is every damn blog about and/or for right wing, conservative Christians? Am I missing something? Did a bunch of people wake up one day and think, "I wanna be the next Fox News"? I realize this is a dumb question because somewhere there are interesting, truthful, logical blogs or just abstract, weird blogs - but I can't find more than about two or three, while the Christian and conservative blogs run amok!  

Please, if I have any viewers out there I would greatly appreciate it if you advertised your blog [make sure it isn't about your boring kids and/or family]. Thank you.
